Garrysmod.org URL: | http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=129635 |
Description: | This will make all of the current paintable Team Fortress 2 hats white so that they can be any color you want, i'll try to keep this as up to date as possible Extract the content of the archive file to your desktop, then take the materials folder and put it in your Steam/steamapps/<username>/garrysmod/garrysmod directory, or for Beta users, Steam/steamapps/<username>/garry's mod beta/garrysmodbeta Some items are effects, meaning they can't have their color nor skin changed, to remedy this, right click the object's icon in the spawn menu and click 'Copy to clipboard', open the console and type 'prop_dynamic_create' and paste the object's file path from your clipboard, REMEMBER TO REMOVE THE 'models/' AT THE START OF THE DIRECTORY, OTHERWISE AN ERROR MODEL WILL SPAWN! If you want to change the color or style of items, use the Bodygroup Tool's secondary fire http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=125861 To attach items to characters, use the Bonemerge tool, select the character you want to merge items with, then select the items you want to merge on said character, then use the right mouse button to finish http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=126298 If you want the hat's default color, you can go to the garrysmod/materials/models/player/items/<class_name> directory and open up the Valve Material File (VMT) with either VTF Edit or Notepad, then you can manually replicate those numbers with the Colour Tool If you're using the Garry's Mod Beta's Colour Tool, you can open the console and type 'colour_r <red value>; colour_g <green value>; colour_b <blue value>' into the console, then you can use the Colour Tool as you wish Here's a list of RGB values for the paint cans (thanks to the Team Fortress Wiki) RED GREEN BLUE - PAINT CAN NAME 230 230 230 - An Extraordinary Abundance of Tinge 216 190 216 - Color No. 216-190-216 197 175 145 - Peculiarly Drab Tincture 126 126 126 - Aged Moustache Grey 20 20 20 - A Distinctive Lack of Hue 105 77 58 - Radigan Conagher Brown 124 108 87 - Ye Olde Rustic Color 165 117 69 - Muskelmannbraun 231 181 59 - Australium Gold 240 230 140 - The Color of a Gentlemann's Business Pants 233 150 122 - Dark Salmon Injustice 207 115 54 - Mann Co.
