Download the 8 Data Files
Download the GTA IV.exe and extract it into the same direcory as the .dat files

Open the GTA IV.exe and install the game as usual
If this doesnґt work for you you can extract the .data files with the included "Uniextract 1.6"

At the moment thereґs no scenerelease of a Crack, i guess it will be released in a few days, so you can download the game in advantage

I was gonna upload it myself until I saw the huge file size of 14GB.

fast, trymedia you hey over 500 kb\s. its a legit game trial when you download it but then when you apply the crack you should get the whole game to apply the crack download the game, DONT START THE GAME YET OR IT WILL NOT WORK , then move the crack where the executable is and then run the crack. THEN PLAY!

If anyone tries this, I haven't since I just torrented the DVD, but install the fed0r crack. I've tried all the cracks out there for GTA4, and this one works the best. Especially no wobbly camera, all the other cracks phail cept for fed0rz.

Im not sure if I should download GTA4 after the new patch is out, cause I've heard they were going to optimize(?) it, remove bugs etc.
I guess you can't install the patches when you have a pirate-version, or am I terribly wrong?

The game is legit until you crack it by removing the trail.

So that means "YES, you can patch it, but when you apply the crack, you can't anymore"?

Before downloading GTA IV check the specs. This is a very demanding game that has been reported to give huge fps problems.

Nvidia has recently released a driver to help with the issues: Grand Theft Auto IV by Rockstar Games

Personally I'm getting 15 fps outside and 35 inside with the latest driver, a Intel quad core q6600, 4gb ram, and an overclocked 8500 GT. (gfx card and PSU upgrade for me soon )
