Half Life 2 Episode 1 - 28th June 2010 I downloaded and put the files in my steamapps folder I went into steam and it said download starting and nothing happens did I so somthing wrong?

Half Life 2 Episode 1 - 28th June 2010 I have the exact same problem. I dl'ed both of the gcfs and cftoolbox says theyre both 100%, but i keep getting the servers are too busy error. I've tried 2 different launchers and as far as I know these are the only gcfs needed to run ep 1 aside from the source engine ones
Half Life 2 Episode 1 - 28th June 2010 I found the solution to the servers too busy thing: the content and shared arent the only gcfs required to run the game. You didn't download all the files. Either you don't have all the files or they're outdated, use a launcher instead of a crack to play it.
