| Description: | Garry's Mod Maze!! a complete puzzle gamemode full of surprises and other stuff! -Requirements: Portal, and Hl2... (not sure which episode i used textures from...) What is this? This is maze, playing is simple, all you have to do is find your way through the maze. The maze includes a map that is maze like, invisible obstacles, and a whole lot of blocks that will randomly change. Installation -Allow this to overwrite your second garrysmod folder. Notes: -the compass and tile textures are the only ones needed if you are going to use the latest map, older textures are used only for the older maps. -the maze v3 was never completed, due to problems i encountered with hammer so i included the vmf files for who ever wants a peak at what is required of maze maps features: - all code was made by yours truly, so don't go worryin' that this is stolen or something ;) - a custom hud that is smooth, and fluid with lots of animations - custom scoreboard (i like this one :)) - my own derma 'skin' so the spawnmenu follows my color scheme (0,0,0,64) & (0,0,96,200) if your wondering :P Stuff to come: - an easier way to add user generated perks, surprises, etc... ( i have a good idea for this!) - cleaner code - a path builder, that makes it so players don't easily get stuck - maybe my own models??? - more surprises - more everything!! - (due to popular demand)-- Cake -- IF SOMETHING DOES NOT WORK... just post a comment, ill take a look. -- IF YOU HAVE A SUGGESTION... ditto on the comment. -- if the time is not enough for you to finish to earn points, change the global variable labeled 'mazetime' in the first few lines of init.lua Thanks for testing: -> HC Pirate Santa -> Squeakers -> Timmeh and P.S. this is my first 'big' lua project, so i hope you all like! :D |
