Description: I can only confirm this works for striders.
*Note* Even though this is obvious, don't use Npc_Create or give npc commands, those striders DONT work. This map enables striders to walk around and shoot you, so if you take cover in a room or behind a wall, they will walk there. This doesn't work with any other NPC.
If you wish to enable striders to walk on other maps, you need to add info_Node_air_Hint's and info_Node_air to allow them to work. The Info_Node_air_hint must be set on "Strider node" which can be found in the properties, otherwise it will do other stuff. This map is good for machinima, or examples of what this does. And it's also to tell you how to.
Heres a long explained tut. (By me, not another site)

1.Load Hammer
2.Make a wide grass plain
3.Put a info_node_air_hint down.
4.YOU DONT NEED AN INFO_NODE_AIR, IT JUST MAKES THE STRIDERS WORK BETTER
4. -- Edit the info_node so it is on strider node
5. Now hold shift and add copies of the info_node_air_hints on. Preferably in multiple directions around static cover.
6. If you wish, place a strider with hammer, if not, do it in gmod.
7. TEST! If you did this correctly, when you take cover, the strider will crouch and follow you around! :D
