A little bit of history, CoD or BF or whatever fanboys should read this: Basically, the MP5-SD is a modified version of the MP5 or Maschinenpistole 5, which roughly translates as Machine-Pistol Model 5. The only real change the MP5-SD adopted was that it had an intergrated silencer, handy if you want to pop a guy's skull and you don't want anyone to notice.
