Description: | 1.2.3: + Added maximum wallet capacities. Default is 10000$ (you can tweak it in shared.lua, the variable is MaxWallet) /\ Heavily improved the item buy code. This lets a server owner easily add jobs that will be able to buy items. Important bug note: arresting a player sometimes does not teleport him to jail. Features: - Jobs (not that much of a feature, eh?) - Maximum players per job - Level system (maximum level is 21, you start out at level 1) - Inventory (gets saved on the server, causes absolutely no lag when saving) - Attributes (strength, agility, intellect) - Skills (hand-to-hand, pick-lock, pick-pocket, etc.) - Shopping (also an easy system to add your own items) - Crafting (also an easy system to add your own recipes) - Stamina system - Melee weapons - Lock-picking - In-built admin mod for the most needed commands (slay, slap, kick, ban, noclip) - Chat distance - Chat commands such as /me /ooc // and shit like that - Pick-pocketting - Door ownage - Hunger - Various tips - Viewbob when moving - Quests - Quest time limit - Wanted players have their wanted state expired after some time - 3D2D text for dropped items - Climbing/free-running/parkour/whatever you'd like to call it system - No SWEP-based actions (context menu key to lock/unlock doors, pick-lock doors, etc.) - An advanced player reporting system for commiting a crime (you need to witness the murder in order to make the player wanted OR get attacked from a close distance) - Players that are lock-picking automatically get wanted if the player has been spotted by a policeman from a close distance - Pick-locking an arrested player will make the player unarrested - Player arresting - Uses my "Customizable Weaponry" for firearms (without the attachment part) - A simple chat command based admin mod - Job whitelisting - Vehicles - Bail system (got arrested and don't want to do your time? no problem! pay your bail!) - Property system (buy one door - own the whole property) Console variables: rpg_initial_money <default - 200> - specify the amount of money a player gets the first time he spawns on the server rpg_pay_wait_min <default - 120>- minimum amount of time required for a player to wait until he gets his pay rpg_pay_wait_max <default - 180> - maximum amount of time required for a player to wait until he gets his pay rpg_job_change_wait <default - 600> - amount of time required for a player to wait until he is able to change jobs rpg_max_doors <default - 4> - amount of maximum doors a player can own rpg_police_kills_demot <default - 2> - amount of kills a non-wanted policeman has to commit in order to get automatically demoted rpg_police_kills_forget <default - 300> - time in seconds required for the kills to be forgotten rpg_respawn_time <default - 20> - time in seconds until a player is able to respawn rpg_arrest_time <default - 240> - time in seconds until a player gets released from jail OR his wanted state expires rpg_quest_wait <default - 300> - time in seconds until a player is able to accept a contract after completing or failing the current one rpg_quest_cooldown <default - 900> - time in seconds until a completed or failed quest can be activated again rpg_satiety_decreasetime <default - 60> - time in seconds until a player's satiety decreases specified by rpg_satiety_decreaseamount rpg_satiety_decreaseamount <default - 5> - how much satiety to decrease after an amount of seconds specified by rpg_satiety_decreasetime Controls: Spawn menu key - open inventory Context menu key - perform action (holster weapon, buy door, pick a lock, etc.) F1 - open main player menu Hold jump key - grab onto a ledge Hold jump key + forward key - wall-run Admin-only chat commands: !slay <player> -- slays a player !slap <player> <damage> -- slaps a player with the damage specified !kick <player> <reason> -- kicks a player with the reason specified !ban <player> <time> <reason> -- bans a player with a specified amount of time and reason !noclip <player> -- enables or disables noclip on a player Credits: Portal - various ideas |
