Best map ever made-The following passages were contained in a small note on the ground when we airdropped you in, written on a scrap of newspaper.-Journal entry #1After it really happened, after all the speculation, I was the one and only. The only survivor in a nuclear wasteland, where all my friends and family have been vaporized by the blast. In the blink of an eye. I'm glad I found this journal. It seems like it's been a year and it'll be good to record what has and what will happen.I still run a small shop at the local gas station. I try to keep my hopes up that another survivor will find this place. God it used to be beautiful here. I prided myself on my work mostly because of the incredible view. Now, it's a mix of dirt and radiation. Janet, who lived across the street, granted me a pleasant surprise when I went to visit her once I heard it was safe outside. The surprise? She had killed herself.After recovering from such a loss, I built up the courage to venture over to the village. To anyone who finds this: Don't go. I struggle to even describe what I've seen. They were all dead. Chests ripped open. There was a pile of burning bodies. Some even looked skinned.Several Combine fools decided to venture out here, to look for survivors and "assist" them. After they called me out once, and I didn't come, of course, they opened fire. I took 'em out with my trusty Desert Eagle, but I took a shot in the arm. It feels infected. No medical supplies. God help me.(I hope you enjoy this. Did you like the story? I thought it was pretty good.)
