yes i actually JUST figured this out. When playing on steam, the game will automatically download bits and pieces when they are needed(which is why it took a minute to load each css weapon) but on the standalone i made, this isn't possible. So yes, im downloading the GFCs right now. Thanks...

As far as making the standalones go. Use this guide. Make sure to use the rev-emu emulator. And for mapping, and map you make in hammer editor can be used in any source game. As long as the models and textures are present.
