Download half-life 2 content.gcf
Follow installation instructions to get Half-Life 2.

Installation: extract to your steamapps folder, usually located at C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps or C:\Program Files\VALVe\Steam\SteamApps
it may be different for you. if you can't find it, search your computer for "gcf" (without the quotes)
