Well, the best way to get games is to BUY them. If you get 50 posts then they like give you games or something, im not sure as i dont have 50 posts but if you like source games then google search for something called the "dead patch" or "undeath patch" and you should find what you are looking...

ok, so 50 posts, is there anything that will allow me to download the games THROUGH steam by simply downloading GCF/ NCF files like i have done with all the source games or are they external downloads or can't you tell me anything about it until i get 50 posts?

Hay guys, i'm new to the community, before i decide to stay i'd like to know what i actally get from being here. The banner says "free steam" but from what i have found you need to donate to get access therefore wrecking the "free steam" bit which voids the banner, correct me if i'm wrong...

i'm not to sure, i've seen steam ids sometimes and they are a long string that refures to an account name eg. google.com refures to an IP address

as far as i can find, there is only a few patches that give you "all" games and those all give the error "servers are too busy to handel your request", u can like get HL2 and pop cap games and thats about it :(

50 posts, thats a long way away and there is no promise of there being antthing good in there, i need some confirmation of what is in tehre before i consider staying in this "FREE" steam site, what stops steam from donating to get in then doing more legal stuff?
