on L4D, when it says that, it basically means Steam knows you don't own it, so its pretty much worthless, I heard that from a pro, oh and, I dont know about the Assassin's Creed one, Hope this helped!

I had the same exact problem, except the blood showed up as red squares. You might want to clear out some of your hard drive because the computer might not have sufficient memory to store the dieing, pupil's, ect. I might be wrong, I just cleared out some of my drive, and it works great, what...

Garry's Mod is having an error where when I start it it goes to the start menu picture then it quits and an engine error comes up saying "NO STEAM APPS!" even though the steam apps is where it always is... anyone?
