Hello

All i want is to play Cinematic Mod v9
OpenDNS

This is required all episodes it's says "Fully installed and unlocked"
i have installed all episodes and HL2 (nonsteam)-> (unpacked in own directory)

Cinematic automatical installed in SteamApps/Sourcemods
This mod don't run when steam no runing
So i have installed Steam (work offline) and add HL2 and episodes exe files
in my games.
i installed again cinematic and run
it's say "you don't have all GCFs neede to start"
f.... !!!!

i have episode two an HL2 gcfs i need ep1 and i must know where
i should copy this gcf to cinematic can detected them.

Could anyone know is there a chance to play this mod
without buying orginal orange box and steam. ???

Ty for the upload but im trying to update it and it just hangs at download starting Any clue as to what could fix this?
 
I have downloaded both GCF's and put them in my steamapps folder and i still cant play the game it shows up in my installed list with download paused and i cannot resume updating or play

Edit: I'm using the undead patch also.....

and is anyone active on these forums.. i don't want to have to make a new topic to get some attention around here
 
I know this is an old topic but for the record.
You need both gcf files and there are other prerequisite gcfs aswell.
to check what files are needed use CF toolbox to make sure that you have all the requirements.
once that is sorted you can manually make a standalone game from these files or use a tool called MiSteamTools to automate the process.

Cf toolbox says my gcf's are out of date but i cant update them with the account i have because its blank so it gives me the same error as steam because i dont own the game is there anyway past this or is this how its supposed to be i think i need account name and pass that has it so i can dl the content...

i dont want the game to be stand alone because i want to use synergy to do co op with both epsiodes will MiSteam let you do this
 
Can anyone tell me wad should i do to the GCF file? Did i need to download the shared GCF files and the other one or just download any 1 of it??
Sorry, I'm quite noob here cause I'm new here. zzz
