HL2 EP2 achievements don't work (steamed,standalone)

Hey everyone! I standaloned my HL2 EP2. I wanted for achievements to work, but they don't. Some people advised me to use emulators, but the achievements don't work. I tried editing the emulator .ini files, but i end up the game launching and then dropping of an error sound without any "why error" bar. So guys, any help?
