How do i run games?

Hi, ive downloaded Left 4 Dead 2 from here, and it says i should unpack the 7z files to my steamapps folder, but when i do that and go to steam it says that i have to buy the game, and if i try to run it from the folder, i just get errors

ok so first just delet the game data so you can restart
then unpack all the 7z files and put them into steam aps
now then you should get something called downlaod starting
DO NOT PRESS PLAY UNITLL it says you game name
if it didn't work then you might have to find a crack on one of these sites
