How do i use my HD ATI card to watch TV?

I want to test it out if i can use my ATI HD 6990 for something other than COmputer based?

Hello mate, if you have the money, you can buy Pinnacle Satellite card from Ebay or from any store on your country, trust me i got Nivida GTX 260 and i watch movies like a charm, with HD support

you need a tv tuner. not just a graphics card

most likely, your graphics card supports HDMI cables, if you have that, just use it to hook up to a HDTV
