Microsoft announced System Center 2012 today giving organizations the ability to build private clouds with existing infrastructure. Microsoft also demonstrated a new feature, codenamed "Concero", that easily allows the management and deployment of applications on private and public cloud infrastructure. System Center 2012 will be released later this year with a beta of the Virtual Machine Manager component available today from TechNet downloads.
