sorry for not uploading any tf2 gcf's, i was getting a new computer so i could not do anything for a while.

I'm just a n00b and i don't know what this is, but i copied it into my "Steamapps" folder and it fixed the busy steam servers error when downloading TF2. Thanks !

I had the same problem, GoldDrak recommended me DarkSteam to make the games work.

Download it, very simple program and neat http://www.darksteam.info/

no it's not a virus, you place gcf files in your steam apps folder. thread locked due to this update is old.
