total noob, please help.

okay, so i downloaded TF2 with CF toolbox 1.0.7
i got all the .cgf files, and validated them.
now, what am i supposed to do with those, i've also got a steam emulator to go with it.

you have download all gcfs right?
When yes put them intro Steam/Steamapps

When you not have Steam Create a New folder elsewere und put the gcfs in ther i you have Steambuster Click on Settings/genrals and at GCF files Directory select you path were you put the GCF Files then restart stembuster is in the game list of steambuster intro topic Not instaled TF 2 Douable klick on it and then Lunche

Download the GCFs for TF2, get UndeadPatch or SMD (or any other steam cracker), patch Steam, make a new account, put the GCFs in the steamapps/ directory, then run cracked steam, login, and enjoy

well, i couldn't find steambuster, so i went with the undead patch.
is it supposed to create a separate .exe for steam or does it just patch the existing one?
and the .gcf files don't go any deeper in than c:/program files/steam/steamapps?
or is it .../steamapps/team fortress2

It patches the original exe however you are given the option of being able to back up.

And it goes in steamapps and nothing else.
