UCL has stopped working

Hi,

I have been using UCL (not sure which version) for quite some time to play GMod. Sometime ago I stopped playing for a while and now I want to get back into it, however UCL does not start up.

It just gives me the "Universal Content Launcher has stopped working" message you get from vista. I've tried quite a few versions of UCL which I found in that other post but they didn't work either.

My UAC is turned off as well. Anyone know why this is happening?

P.S: I have tried running it on SBRev but it gives me a library could not be found error, so I wanna stick with UCL. Thanks.

There is a new version that was posted about a week ago, you should go download the latest.

Yeah, i've been having problems with UCL, Undead, etc. as well. The only good crack/fix that actually works for me is SMD, which you may find here

Well, Steam client updated, and is currently under beta stages which are available from your settings.

Its working fine now. Apparently my Arial font was stuffed up and I had to get it from XP :S Thanks
