Uploaded maps not showing up in maps list

I'm installing maps from freesteam and they aren't showing up in the maps list. Help?

What map? What game? Where did you download the map from? Where are you putting the files for the map to?

I think I have free gmod 10 and the map I used was gm_freespace. I've downloaded maps before and they worked but not now. I just put the .bsp file in C:\Users\User\Documents\Valve\Garry's Mod\garrysmod\maps. Where I always put map files.

It's worked before.

Try deleting it and putting it back in, G-Mod wouldn't happen to have been running when you installed map would it?

It's funny I downloaded a kirmite weapon pack and put in addons and the weapons don't show up in the weapons tab. It's like nothings working.

Well, I deleted and reinstalled and it's still not showing up...

any help?

hmm.. I have kermite too and it worked for me, next to the search bar in the prop menu is a refresh icon, try that ( it takes a while)
