So i downloaded L4D from http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4529446/Left_4_Dead_Full-Rip_Skullptura and i managed to play the single player. but now i want to try multiplayer, campaign/versus. ive put masterservers.vdf inside the platform/config folder, readonly, but i dont think that helps. then i added it to steam as a Non Steam Game. i managed to get in to a room before being immediately disconnected with the error message "Disconnected: Connection to session has been lost" same applies for creating my own room. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this? thx
