Manually apply Portal update?

I saw that Valve did an update to Portal, and was wondering if there was some way to get the relevant files and manually update my install. I'm assuming it would involve unpacking some of the GCFs?

You can make archive with cftoolbox and put it in the update patches thread, but i dont see the point. Just make sure you have the first slice and it should download automaticaly.
